For the comfort of the passengers, UIA reminds you that smoking is not allowed on board, regardless of flight or service class.

Economy Class

Passengers in Economy Class will be offered a complimentary snack or meal depending on the duration of the flight. We will also be pleased to offer you a tea, coffee or beverage during the flight.

Special Meals

UIA offers its passengers special meals that can be ordered when booking and purchasing air-tickets in UIA booking offices and travel agencies. We can offer you vegetarian, Moslem, kosher, diabetic, fat or salt-free meals, as well as for children and babies, etc. Please specify your preference when making reservations and not less than 48 hours before departure.

Electrical Devices

To prevent electronic devices from interfering with the aircraft’s radio and navigational systems, please follow these industry-wide guidelines: radios, portable televisions, remote-controlled toys and computer printers shall not be used at any time when on board the aircraft. Laptops, video cameras, walkmans, CD players, electric shavers, Dictaphones or other recording devices shall not be used during taxi, take-off and landing.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones must be switched off when the aircraft doors are closed and be off at all times during your flight. After landing, when the aircraft is parked and engines shut down, the use of mobile phones is permitted.

Safety

In 2005 UIA became the first officially registered IOSA Operator in the CIS that has successfully completed the special IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA). The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), developed by the best airline experts under the guidance of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the international programme of auditing airline operational management and control systems aimed at improving industry safety. This official IOSA Operator status has again confirmed Ukraine International high quality and safety standards.
